The HD-RX2500 Decoder, operating in conjunction with the HD-TX2500 Encoder, delivers
professional High Definition video and multiple audio channels over DVB-ASI or IP networks
at Standard Definition bandwidth (5 Mbps or more). It supports 4:2:2 and 4:2:0 color space
formats, and includes state-of-the-art forward error correction technology and a real-time
network analysis tool for reliable transmission over the Internet. This low-latency decoder
outputs professional video on HD/SD SDI with Genlock capability. Features include low
power consumption, light weight, with both front panel and Web-user interface for easy
setup and configuration.
The XVD codec system is comprised of the HD-TX2500 Encoder and HD-RX2500 Decoder.
This high-performance system enables a substantial increase in bandwidth utilization of
satellite, microwave and IP links.
In addition, the HD-RX2500 is recommended for use with the new second-generation
backpack DENG encoder and RF transmitter.
